UK Gambling Commission Reveals Record Breaking Figures for Q4 Operator Data
The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has recently released operator data for the fourth quarter, covering the period from January to March. The data showcased a significant increase in the total gross gambling yield (GGY) along with a rise in the number of bets placed across both online and land-based operators.
Online Gaming Operators See Surge in GGY
According to the UKGC’s report, licensed online gaming operators in Britain reported a total GGY of £1.45 billion ($1.94 billion) for Q4.
