Sports Wagering Struggles
The sports wagering sector in Pennsylvania experienced increasing segmentation, with only two operators surpassing the $1 million gross revenue mark. Despite a sports betting handle of $756.92 million in February, overall revenues plummeted to just $7.5 million. This decline was partly attributed to the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory resulting in significant payouts.
